HP Sprocket Studio - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

• Blinking alternating colors: The printer firmware is updating. Do not close the HP sprocket app during the update.
• Blinking or solid red: The printer is an error state. Go to Blinking or Solid Red Status Indicator Light for more information.
• Blinking or pulsing white (default) or personalized color: The printer is receiving a print job or printing a photo.
  If the light is blinking and the printer prints slowly, the printer overheated and has reduced the printing speed.

  note:

  You or a connected guest can select a personalized color from the HP sprocket app to indicate who is printing.

1. Connect the power cord that came with your printer to the power bank.
   
2. Charge the power bank until all four Charge Status lights are white, and then disconnect the power cord.

3. Unwrap the power bank power cord, and then connect it to the printer.

   note:

   When you are not printing, disconnect the power cord to help extend battery life.

   

1. Turn on the printer.
2. On your mobile device, open the HP sprocket app.
3. Tap the Menu icon , and then tap sprocket.
4. Tap Manage Printers, make sure your printer is selected, and then tap Printer Settings.
5. Under Settings, view the Auto Off and Sleep Timer settings.
   
6. If you want to change a power setting, tap it, and then select the new setting.

  caution:

Do not use standard photo paper. It can damage the printer and cartridge.
