HP Sprocket Panorama Printer - Using the HP Panorama App

The HP Panorama app is the main software to use with your HP Sprocket Panorama Printer. With this app, you can take and edit photos, and then send the print jobs to your HP Sprocket Panorama.

Install the HP Panorama App

  1. Download the HP Panorama app from the Apple App Store® or the Google Play® store.
  2. Open the Bluetooth settings menu in your smartphone and make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
  3. Turn on the printer and open the HP Panorama app.

Note: For first-time users, the onboarding process includes connection instructions for pairing the printer with the app. It will prompt users with instructions to begin the pairing process.

  1. If you are not connecting for the first time, go to the Manage Printers option to connect your printer to your smartphone.

Print Photos

Print photos using one of several available ways.

Make and print your design

Start from scratch and make your own creation to print out.

  1. From the HP Panorama app home screen, tap My Design.
  2. Adjust the paper length on the Set Paper Length screen as needed. Tap Next when done.
  3. Use the toolbar at the bottom of the screen to edit, customize, and perfect your design. Tap the print icon when you are ready to print your creation.

Print a saved photo

Print photos saved on your mobile device, social media, or Google Photos account.

  1. From the HP Panorama app home screen, tap Print Photo.
  2. Next, select a photo from the gallery. Sign into your Instagram, Facebook, or Google Photos account to use photos from there.

Print a new photo

  1. From the HP Panorama app home screen, tap Print Photo.
  2. Tap the camera icon on the gallery screen. In Camera mode, set a timer, change the camera perspective, set a flash, or adjust the dimensions of the photo area as needed.
  3. Tap the Capture icon to take a photo.
  4. Edit the photo as needed and then print.

Print in Photo ID mode

  1. From the HP Panorama app home screen, tap Print Photo.
  2. Tap the camera icon on the gallery screen. In Camera mode, set a timer, change the camera perspective, set a flash, or adjust the dimensions of the photo area as needed.
  3. Swipe over to the Photo ID option.
  4. Tap the Capture icon to take a photo.

Note: Keep face within the solid white outline for the best result.

  1. Edit the photo as needed and then print.

Print in Photobooth mode

  1. From the HP Panorama app home screen, tap Photobooth. This will open the Photobooth Camera, where you can change the camera perspective, set a flash, or adjust the dimensions of the photo area as needed.
  2. Tap the Capture icon to start the photobooth. In photobooth mode, the camera will take four photos with a countdown timer between each photo.
  3. Edit the photo as needed and then print.

Share: Tap the Share icon to share your photo.

Copies: Tap the plus or minus icons to increase or decrease the number of copies that are printed.

Print: Tap Print to print your photo.

The print queue

Use the HP Panorama app print queue to view and modify upcoming print jobs.

To view the print queue, tap the Menu icon from the Homepage, and then tap Print Queue. The print queue can also be selected from the Gallery page. The app might display two different queues.

  • The Printer Queue displays up to 10 photos sent to a specific Sprocket.
  • The App Queue displays up to 20 photos sent from your mobile device when you are not connected to a Sprocket.

Move a photo to the front of the queue: Go to the print queue, and then swipe a photo to the right. The Reorder icon displays, and the photo moves to the top of the list.

Remove photos from the queue: Go to the print queue, and then swipe the photo you want to remove to the left. The Trash can icon displays, and the photo is removed from the queue.

  1. How do I navigate the home screen?

From the home screen, access the print queue, lists of printers, app settings, and more options in the menu.

Print queues: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Print Queue to see which photos are printing next.

Manage printers: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Manage Printer to add or remove a printer.

App settings: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap App Settings to adjust app settings.

Account settings: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Account Settings to adjust your account settings.

How to & help: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap How to & Help for printer instructions, tips, and support information.

Buy paper: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Buy Paper to be brought to an external page where you can buy paper for your Panorama printer.

Legal & privacy: Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Legal & Privacy to view legal information.

  1. How do I edit my photos?

After you take or select a photo, the user will be automatically taken to the Edit page where you can edit your photo.

Select one of the edit icons to alter your photo.

  • Add New Photo: Add another photo to your creation.
  • Frames: Add a frame around your photo.
  • Stickers: Choose a sticker from the gallery to add to your photo, and then tap and drag the sticker to place it.
  • Text: Type a message to place on your photo.
  • Brush: Draw a design on your photo. Tap the icons at the bottom of the screen to change the color, thickness, or sharpness of the brush.
  • Crop/Rotate: Crop, rotate, or flip your photo.
  1. What if I cannot print to my Panorama?

Sometimes a print job sent from the HP Panorama app does not print.

Check the following:

  • Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  • The Panorama is properly loaded with a paper roll.
  • The Panorama is charged and turned on.
  • The Panorama is within range of your mobile device.
  • The firmware is up to date.
