I have the same error on my new printer. Looking carefully at the back cover i think there is meant to be a trigger to tell the camera when it is closed but for some reason it isnt doing its job correctly.

Hi, I am having this same issue. How does the camera know the cover is on?
I am also having the same issue with my sprocket we have tried resetting feels like cover is installed correctly but still blinking and give us the cover error message on the app

This looks like a hardware issue.

Followed these steps but it didnt make a difference, the light continues to flash red and the camera/printer still seems to think the cover is open – even though it clearly isnt.

Replace the paper cover, and then resend the print job.
