I'm having the same problem!! Hp needs to stand behind their product and issue a recall or at least exchange for us!

Hi, I recently saw that there was a recall on hp laptop batteries and my laptop is one of them. where can i get the free service to replace my battery?
I bought a new 2 in 1 sprocket printer and have a top cover open issue. I’ve done everything i can to solve this but still cant use the camera or printer due to the top cover open issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I understand you recommending to reset it but in order to do that you have to be able to turn it on. I just got it as a Christmas present and would hate to tell the person that the gift they got me only worked once to print out three pictures
