I have an older Sprocket, it connects via Bluetooth, but the app says Problem with setup.

I have an older Sprocket 5A:3E, apparently since I haven’t used it in awhile, the app no longer recognizes the model. I have deleted the app 2 times and got it again on my iphone. At first it connected via Bluetooth and asked if it could access my photos, now it does not even do that.

I still have photo paper for it, so I am not very happy with HP for this if the outdated product is the problem. It is still in like new condition, and fully charged.

  • I took the Sprocket to my daughters house, she is a computer geek. It immediately worked. I have no idea why. I messed with it all day, deleted the app, deleted the Bluetooth, restarted my phone! She turned on the app and the option for the older model was there to select, and it connected and printed. Mystery!!!
