HP Sprocket Printing everything with a Pink Hue

i have read many individuals with the same issue as mine and i have done everything that anyone at HP has said but nothing changes.   When i first got my sprocket, it printed fine for about 20 pictures and now everything is pink.  has anyone discovered the problem.   Firware Version is 1.1.7 and does not ask for another.  it is so bad i cannot use it - did i waste $$$$

  • An hour ago, Amazon brought me an HP Sprocket printer, I installed the program, charged the printer, installed a set of paper that was in the box with it and printed the first three photos with different filters and colors. They all have the same lilac shade. Do you seriously think this is a solvable problem? =/

  • I’ve tried everything suggested and still get pink prints. I’m so disappointed in this product. Doesn’t look look like HP care though as it’s an ongoing problem. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone who wants even a vaguely representative print. I’m binning mine. A complete waste of money, especially considering the cost of the photos papers.

  • I have also been having the same issue ever since I bought my sprocket over a year ago. No matter what steps I follow, what forums I read, NOTHING is working. I’ve even gone to youtube to see if its something I’m doing wrong. I have only ever used the hp zink photo paper, so its not from that.

    I have read all the posts and FAQ’s that HP offers regarding this pink hue issue or what HP calls ‘Poor Image Quality’. When I say nothing is working, I mean that this issue isnt getting fixed from anything that has been recommended.

    At this point, I’m beyond annoyed and frustrated. As a graphic artist, I wanted to be able to use this to print out cute small stickers of my work. Obviously the quality isnt going to be the same as a full blown printer, but I ATLEAST thought that I wouldnt have to worry about color matching as badly as this little guy is printing out.

    Is there nothing else that can be said or done to the sprocket to fix the Pink Hue color on my photos or is this an issue with the model sprocket that I have? (Which is the HP sprocket 200)

    I understand that you HP Sprocket printer is facing print quality issues. You have done a remarkable job in troubleshooting this issue. 
     
    I suggest you to review the steps from this HP document and skip any steps that have not been attempted so far: https://hp.care/2wUrTid
     
    The step 3 suggests to update the firmware so please make an attempt to update the firmware.
