I've been having issues with the sprocket print quality. It is printing lighter than it should and the page has red specs and it does not print till the end of the page.
Firmware is updated. Using official hp paper.

@Lybr_02
This seems to be a hardware issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
Select the country.
Enter the serial of your device.
Select the country from the drop-down.
Click on “Show Options”.
Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.

@kumar0307There was no additional firmware update therefore I used the reset button. And printed yet another photo. Same outcome. End of photo has red specks and it does not print till the end. Paper gets stuck at the end and leaves the same blank space as the photo I attached earlier
@Lybr_02, thank you for the response. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Upgrade the Sprocket firmware
HP regularly releases firmware updates. Upgrading the firmware might resolve the issue.
Make sure the Sprocket is on and your mobile device is connected to the Internet.
On your mobile device, open the HP sprocket app.
Tap the Menu icon , and then tap sprocket.
Tap Manage Printers, make sure your Sprocket is selected, and then tap Printer Settings.
Under the Status section, locate Battery.
If the battery charge is 25% or higher, continue with these steps.
If the battery charge is 24% or lower, charge the battery for at least 30 minutes, and then continue with these steps.
In Printer Settings, look for a firmware upgrade.
If a firmware upgrade displays, tap Get Firmware Upgrade, and then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update.
If a firmware upgrade option does not display, the firmware is up-to-date.
Send a print job. If the print quality is still unacceptable, continue to the next step.
Reset the sprocket
Turn on the printer.
Remove the paper cover by sliding it away from the output slot, and then set it aside.
Slide the paper cover
Remove the paper cover
Locate the Reset button.
Gently insert a straight pin into the reset button access point, and then press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds.
The printer resets and turns off.
Turn on the printer.
Connect it to the Android device and try printing.
Let me know how this goes.
KUMAR0307 I am an HP Employee@sandytech20 I have cleaned the paper feeder multiple times. But there are still slight red specks on photos. And the printout stops before the end. Frustrating to keep wasting hp paper.

Welcome to HP Support community.
Clean the Sprocket paper path rollers
Remove the Paper Cover, and then remove any photo paper from the input tray.
Check the photo paper and remove any severely bent, wrinkled, or torn photo paper from the stack.
Reload the photo paper with the colored card on the bottom of the stack with the barcode facing down.
Replace the Paper Cover, and then wait while the Sprocket detects and cleans the paper path rollers with the colored card.
If the Sprocket does not automatically detect the colored card, send a print job to manually start the cleaning process.
