HP sprocket 200 won't turn on, flashing red light while charging

I have used my sprocket a few times but not for several months. I've charged it for over an hour but it will not turn on. Flashing red light while charging but no changes when holding the power button. I have attempted a reset.

    If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Sprocket Printers – Blinking Red Status Indicator Light and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
