Can I still print from HP Spocket if I don't have the blue card

Posted by nekohearts77 on

I put in the 10 picture pack in the printer with the blue card and printed 3 pictures just fine.  A couple of weeks later I tried printing again from the same old pack still in the printer but it says "please load paper".  Unfortunately I didn't realise I had to keep the blue card at the time and I threw it away, is there still a way to print out from the remaining 7 without the blue card?

Appreciate all your time and efforts.

If you have tried resetting the Sprocket and if the issue persists, I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for one on one interaction.

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

    Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp
Step 2. Sign in / sign in as a guest
Step 3. Enter the product number or select to auto detect
Step 4. Scroll down to “Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options”
Step 5. Scroll down and click: HP contact options – click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

Keep me posted on further assistance. Hope that helps!
    Have a great day ahead!

  • I’ve restarted it twice and it still says “out of paper” both times.  Would i have to buy a new pack to just use the alignment card 😕

When you put a new set of paper into the sprocket you have to use the blue card to complete the alignment.
Once the alignment is done you can print without the blue card( Alignment card)

Use this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-sprocket-photo-printer/12635221/document/c05241268 for your reference.

If you are unable to print, try resetting the HP Sprocket.

Keep me posted, how it goes!
