Black Lines on right side of photos

I have the sprocket 100 works absolutely fine until tonight when I tried printer a photo and it came out all discoloured with a black line on the right hand side? any tips on how to get it back to normal 

could it be a update(if so how do I do that) 

could it be the paper is old?
